There is an agreement in which Air Canada buys the seats on Chorus Aviation, or Air Canada Jazz, planes.

Air Canada must fly to places whether that route is popular or not because of government rules. Air Canada flys into like Deer Lake, NFLD and other places. Also take into effect the union and pension issue.

Westjet, there are no unions, and their workers own part of the company.

So, I definitely wouldn't put more than 500 into this, has it will gut its dividend. It use to be an income trust. I wouldn't buy westjet as it pays to low of a dividend yield.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6818486532233792196.post-84745258556516846482012-03-11T11:32:39.716-04:002012-03-11T11:32:39.716-04:00That's exactly the reason why I only invested ...That's exactly the reason why I only invested 500$ in CHR.B. And it's also why I said that CHR.B is not good to invest thousands in it, just a 500$ to "play" in is just ok.

I also know it could be another YLO type of company, that's what I wrote, but it's not likely.Sunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10439081666297874311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6818486532233792196.post-22965395777389146032012-03-11T08:18:25.283-04:002012-03-11T08:18:25.283-04:00good luck. again you are fooled into the yield of ...good luck. again you are fooled into the yield of 18%. there's a reason why it's that high. look at big banks, they don't pay 18% dividends or not even close, but yet their profit is at least 100x more... don't be greedy, stick with big quality companies. you are derek foster fan, but yet you don't really follow his advice. i don't see any PG, CG or recession type proof companies. this could be another YLO type company, watch out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6818486532233792196.post-54681886902765739332012-03-07T22:04:55.328-05:002012-03-07T22:04:55.328-05:00Yeahhh it's the average, unfortunately.
