I was hoping it would happen soon, but I didn’t think it would happen this early in 2026. This past Friday, May 22, I reached a net worth of $602,151.75! Mission accomplished!
This happened while Montreal was living and breathing F1. I really enjoyed walking downtown at this time of year, admiring the cool cars and soaking in all the excitement surrounding the Grand Prix celebrations.
I was even able to spot a few familiar faces. I saw Mitsou, the Quebec singer. Doesn’t she look absolutely beautiful? I think she was with her son. She was trying to catch a taxi outside the Ritz-Carlton Montreal. It was a fun little celebrity sighting that made the moment even more fun.

How does it feel? Do you still save money?
It feels great! I had been looking forward to this happening since August 2025. It has been less than a year, but it felt like a long time. I am now back in Montreal since April, so I am spending a little bit more than usual, but my goal is to continue saving. A $600,000 net worth is great, but the more, the better, especially in this economy, where everything is so expensive.
