I was quite in shock while I was watching my stock portfolio throughout the day. At one point, I was sitting on a gain of over $6,000. So I kept refreshing, checking from time to time... What a day! The TSX closed today’s session at a truly awesome 35,217.06 points, up +415.52 points, or +1.19%. My investment portfolio simply followed the lead and closed the day at a superb $607,647.44.
Since the beginning of the year, my investment portfolio has grown by $81,245.73, which is much more than what I earn from my full-time job alone.
And just to make things a little bit more fun, the weather was quite nice in Montreal today!
It’s all fun for now, and it’s quite something to experience such growth. But if I have to take a step back because of a severe stock market correction, this time around, it will be very painful! Now that I am in the $600k range, I want to stay there — or go even further. The next big number to reach is $700,000.
