A $500,000 Net Worth for today?

These days, I mostly post portfolio updates one after another. Despite the current economic situation — which in my opinion feels a bit flat due to tariffs, among other factors, the TSX just keeps going up, up, up! Grocery prices remain very high, etc. One of my major holdings in my non-registered account, PPL, recently gained a bit, which helped push the value of my non-registered portfolio over $161,000.

Yesterday, my net worth closed the session at a superb $498,245.25. What could push me to a $500,000 net worth today is the TSX, and if you’ve been watching, you know the index is currently breaking past 28,000 points! From $498,245.25 to $500,000, the difference is only $1,754.75.

So yes, a $500,000 net worth today is perfectly possible. I’ll only know later this evening because I’m quite busy these days, but please expect an evening post. In the worst-case scenario, I’ll post tomorrow.
