While the TSX closed last Friday’s session above 33,000 points, I knew I was in for some good results. So, as always, I updated my investment portfolio and discovered that my net worth had reached $544,928.90. The gap between that and $550,000 isn’t huge, and January isn’t over yet. We’re starting 2026 on the right foot.
I’m starting to believe that 2026 could be the year I hit $600,000 for the first time, just like 2025 was the year I reached $500,000, and 2024 the year I reached $400,000.
Over the past few days, I’ve had fun investing in some high-dividend ETF payers. My monthly dividend income from my non-registered and TFSA portfolios is now $1,012. Of course, I’d like to see that number grow, but I’m really happy with it for now.
What I want to focus on over the next couple of months is boosting my savings.
