Derek Foster Video Series: Worth it or not? $39.95 for what?

I got cold and now I have the flue. Nothing major for now, just a rainy nose and a punch in my sexy throat. I never been this cold in my life while being in Montreal. As far I remember, I always been able to walked around without any problem, maybe just a couple of days where I took the metro but that's all. But this winter is one of the coldest ever. So I bought some metro tickets. From my place to work, its about a 40 minutes walk. If I take the metro, I am at 20 minutes walk from the metro. I couldn't bought one month because the month only begin on the first of each month... But hey, what the heck. And you know their weekly metro pass, the week begins... on MONDAY. OF COURSE. I may buy a pass for February.

I am usually never sicked, but this time, the cold weather got me this time. And just to make things a bit more complicated, I had been very very busy this week. My job is so hard right now. I changed of position and I got a little raised. The problem is that they are getting so busy at work, its unbelievable. I am willing to do my part, but there's soooo many things to be learn. I am even putting in extra hours that I don't even declared. Why? Well, I feel it wouldn't be appropriate at this time for me to ask to have those extra hours paid because I am new the job, I made a few mistakes, etc. The learning process is hard. But I  have to say that those Quebeckers have been very kind to me so for me to put in a bit more hours is like my way to say sorry without saying it loud and clear. I do apologize when a situation occur. Those are not too common. Its the second time I am messing up. But so not my fault in a way. But its kind of terrible when you think about it twice. I am a terrible employee.

But you know that right?

LOL. Its just time like that, a learning period that I hope won't be too hard on everyone excluding me.

I took a taxi to go to work this morning and I heard at the radio that there's been murders in US schools again. So terribly sad. It cost me 12 bucks.

I have a headache so this post won't me long and I have to go to work early to take care of my mess at work, classy girl....

Before I leave, just one thing: my non-registered portfolio closed today session at $127 601.25!! Its really too bad that I don't have time to post an update of my portfolio.

I had received a request to post on more info about my portfolio, like if it wasn't enough already LOL. But you want more, so just get ready to get more ok. Other than that, I had purchased Derek Foster brand new video series and I have to say, I find the videos interesting. For those who like to know what Derek Foster hold, why, at which price he paid for such such thing, you are going to like the videos because that's exactly the topic covered by Derek Foster. Interesting to watch, easy to understand (even for French girl like me). Only thing missing is him shirtless on the beach.

I am going now, I am tired. Good night special readers. We are soon going to explode on the half of millions view so just continue your good job.

Pretty money, I love to count my pennies. Pretty.

I just completed the manual and oh how long calculations of my... fortune. So I count penny per penny, investment per investment... And finally, the results are in! Are you ready for this?
My non-registered portfolio is at $126 853.21. My overall portfolio is popping the 170k and established itself at a very good $170 864.05. My net worth after debt is of $92 853.74. I should be able to get in the 100k net worth by the end of 2013 if the market goes like this for the rest of the year. My dividend income for January is interesting. So far, I am on $500+. The numbers are great and I just cannot wait to place my next investment move.

My margin account is safe for now. I am using $50 933.68 of my margin money and I have left available $18 072.40. I am exceeding my minimum fix at 15k, which is all good for now. Eventually, a 20k or even 25k would be even better for safety measures.

Some readers suggested me to pay off debt for now and wait for the bear market to kick in before investing more. This is a very good suggestion. I would like to have the ability to just wait, but I just cannot control myself. Just another one..... PLEASE.

Right now, an investment I keep thinking of is: Cineplex Inc. (CGX). This stock has great value, I think. I remember reading something on Susan Brunner blog about her assisting to a money conference and one person said that CGX was a good investment or something like that. The dividend yield is exceeding the 4% by a few ones and the dividend is paid MONTHLY. I love to receive dividend distribution on a monthly basis.

The 2012 financial results of Cineplex will be announced on February 7 so I plan to get in the game before that date. Which mean I will buy some Cineplex stocks before the 7th of February. The US has registered a very good year for movie entries so I guess it will be the same for Canada. I don’t recall exactly where I read that. Anyway, adding in some Cineplex Inc. stocks seem for me to be a nice way to diversify my portfolio.

This is a good weekend to be spent in jogging and go to the movies. I saw that movie about the 9-11 events and about Ben Laden, how he was found and killed, Zero Dark Thirty. That movie should never been made. It’s a provocation for the extremists to wake up again. I felt very upset after watching Zero Dark Thirty. It’s a complete lack of social consideration. If the US get ever target again with a terrorist act, they will be the only ones to be blame. Everything is for the money in Hollywood. War is not something to be celebrated. Ben Laden was killed, but other were kills too. And we don't know who those people were. Americans were celebrating in the streets when Ben Laden was killed. After that, the US wondering why their country is hated a bit everywhere around the globe.

Extreme arrogance, vanity will cost Americans a lot more than what it has did in the past. I don’t suggest anyone to go see Zero Dark Thirty despite the “take your breath away” effect it’s giving you from the beginning to the end. Why? Because its something you need to watch. Disgusting movie. The Hollywood industry is full of shit to have release such a damn thing. Zero Dark Thirty is just another US shame. A provocative act to wake up Al Quaida and terrorists. That is what its all about. War is wanted by Americans so they'll be able to push further their poor economy. How many others will have to die?

We all have our own life to live and its a good thing that I am not an American. I spent my time today counting and counting my pennies. The arrogance of some shouldn't keep us from living our lives the way we want. Nothing has to be disturb. US is such a f up country. Darling is happy to be a Canadian. Especially after watching Zero Dark Thirty.

Welcome in my non-registered portfolio Emera Inc. (EMA)!

I don’t know for you, but in my world, Mondays always sucked. And this Monday was one of those Monday. I wake up late so I did not even eat breakfast home – which makes me spend money. What a great way to begin the day! But I have my lunch at least. And since I wake up late, I haven’t place my automatic purchase order for my investment in Emera Inc. (EMA). In result, I added in some Emera Inc. (EMA) stocks in my portfolio only today.... You know how it goes around here... let’s make some NOISE and make Emera Inc. (EMA) feels like home. Now, Emera Inc. (EMA) belong in my non-registered portfolio for the rest of my life, which should be around 50 years or so of it I guess.

In result of the trading activity of today, my non-registered portfolio is at a very good $126 259.84. This is quite exciting because I don’t remember having that much in my non-registered portfolio never ever. So this is a score! AND... Are you ready?

My non-registered portfolio is in the positive gain!!! I am at +0.89%!!!

The positive gain is low, but just told yourself that, at least, it’s in the positive mark.

I have used $50 793.40 of my margin account and I have left an amount of $17 499.70. Those two numbers are on date of yesterday. I have some interesting dividend income that had come in, so my margin could be less than the number above. My goal was not to exceed the 50k on the margin and to have a 15k left on it. I am pretty closed of my numbers for now.

It would be important to decrease my usage of my margin. A 50k is a bit high. In the eventually of a bear market coming in, it could be a good idea to inject a few thousands on my margin account. It’s terribly hard to find a balance between investing and paying debt when you are a secretly ambitious stock investor. (I am writing secretly because between you and me, no one else know).

It’s very hard because I only want my dividend income and portfolio to grow grow grow. And with this all today recent 0.89% (ALMOST 1% READERS!!!) gain, the excitement make me wanted some more. Will this ever stop? Probably not! Unless... I get pregnant and meet a nice gentleman. Will it ever happen to me? If it goes, forget about investing any longer at such space. I once asked my mom why her and my dad didn’t have more money than that. Well, the answer was: we give it all to you (me and my bro). And you know what, raising a family is expensive. So if in my life I ever find love, there probably be no longer blogging, no more sexy over here, sexy over there, moron over here, moron over there. There will be no more social exhibition. If it happen, you’ll probably going to miss me a lot, I know.

Until there, I will be rocking on that place.

Thank you

Thank you for visiting!
