Oh boy; oh boy
I congratulate you for your courage and your efforts to reach your investment's objectives. But....
I counted 51 different types of investments some of them containing very small amounts of money. I am personnaly a convinced dividend investor and manage a portfolio worth more than 2 million dollars. And I actually have only 25 individual stocks and income trusts in my portfolio. I sincerally think that you own too many mutual funds and stocks and you should do some housework there. Otherwise you will have much difficulty to manage such a (too much) diversified portfolio in the near future.
what do you think.

Hi there,

I agree with you regarding the mutual funds and Manuvie funds that I hold. The result of my portfolio come from accumulation. One day I will have to do a somewhat of a clean-up. But I cannot say that I am feeling totally great at holding stocks only, that might be why I still hold those mutual funds.

I wanted to wait for my lost to recover first and than do something else with the money. But I am still at an early stage in investment so no one should judge too severly while facing the "portfolio". So complex and beautiful, just like a work of art.

51 different types of investment? Are you sure? Wow. I am even better that I taught.

I think that the individual themself create the difficulty. I am not creating myself any kind of barrier. I don't feel any difficulties. The thing is huge and is a monster. It's the way I like things. I go with what I feel right for myself. So far, I am - feeling - alright. Some mutual funds - especially Manuvie funds were investment mistakes. I lost money, made some. But promise myself to stop investing if it happen the results wouldn't be there. I catch up and today well, the portfolio is growing stronger. But yes, one day I will have to sit down and do something more about my mutual funds section but as for now it's ok for me the way it is.
