The TSX is almost at 13 000 points and my portfolio is sensible to the vibe

Yesterday, I was very scared that the stock market would react badly to any news giving by the Fed. But it turn out ok, no special reaction. And in result, my non-registered rank to the $121 431! Great, but today was even better: $122 162.26!!! So those are great news and I can transfer without any problem a 6k to my credit line for tonight. The TSX is now getting closer to the 13k points. I guess I am having a feeling of a stock market going on the high.

I will be able to pay off completely my RBC credit line ($1 121.20) with this week paycheck. Following what, I will have just a $30 left.

Other than that I had been dieting and I had lost 8 lbs. I would very much like to lose 16 lbs by the end of September. I am eating apples after apples when I am hungry (2 is generally enough to calm the deepest crave). I eat oatmeal in the morning, before lunch I eat an orange and one small yogurt and sometime a cereal bar, for lunch a protein shake, in the afternoon, 1 to 2 apples and a yogurt. And also in the morning, I have a one capsule of vitamin E. I also sometime bring bold eggs. Its cheap and good for proteins.

Don't ask the benefit of vitamin E because I just pick whatever vitamins.

Its a very extreme dieting but I already feel better with the first 8 lbs lost. I have lost the weight very easily but I always have to maintain myself on a diet mode and with the scale and everything. Don't ask me why I am doing it so seriously now. It was just a matter of seriously getting started.

I was surprised myself that the Fed didn't taper at all. Great news for the stock market :) Congrats on the diet! Great progress so far.

I find I have to diet like that too to lose weight. It works! Exercise alone doesn't seem to work.. probably because I'm compensating by eating more food...

Hi Liquid,

I was quite happy by the news. Its giving me more time to save cash to pay of some debt before the Fed decided to cut its program. I believe the markets could drop once its stop, even if investors are prepare for cuts in a near future.

I don't think the market will drop on us soon or something as big as a crash will happen now because there's been too much efforts but in by the Fed. But better be careful and transfer fresh cash in a margin whenever its possible.

Hi Christine,

Dieting is getting easier because I see the results every week. When I wrote the post, I didn't taught we were already September 20 this upcoming Friday. My goal is more to lose 4 lbs per week. And another thing is that I only have at my disposal $480 to pay on my debts.

In The Body Reset Diet, Harley Pasternak (a Hollywood diet guru), does not recommend to over exercise and boot camp because it make us eat more. He simply recommend to walk. And its something like 10 000 paces a day.

I had came with a few diet tricks of my own and I am preparing a post on it. Coming soon!

bce, telus and rogers good buy after Verizon news, potash good buy after cartel breakup news - this is the way to invest, look at all these stocks are up because investors got scared and dumped, only the smart investor buys when a good company is undervalued or sold off exagerously... you keep on buying at the 52-week high. Shopper's how much more upside? Should have bought in the mid 40s... You bought telus when it was 70 dollars before the split, a better opportunity was in the 30s after split... Derek foster's books mention he bought stocks when it was cheap...

So the rule is - Food is weight. Exercise is health. So eat less to lose weight, and exercise to feel great! - Cheers.

The deal will go through, but you will only get $33.18 in cash per shares. The remaining will be paid in Loblaw shares.

That's great too. I think will hold on to my Loblaw shares for those who haven't converted to cash. It will bring on some diversification in my portfolio.
