It's quite enjoyable to be on vacation and watch my stock portfolio doing exactly what it's supposed to, growing steadily and naturally, all on its own, and even beyond expectations. I updated my investment portfolio earlier this evening. My current net worth stands at $488,537.85.
Probably by tomorrow, or within the next few days, Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. (INE) will be delisted from the TSX. I thought this would only happen by the end of the year or even in 2026. However, the acquisition of Innergex by the Caisse has recently been confirmed. As a result, I’ll be rewarded with $13.75 per share.
I held my INE shares inside my TFSA, so I’ll be receiving a couple thousand dollars directly into that account. This will temporarily reduce my monthly dividend income to below $950. But once I reinvest the funds, I could potentially bring that back up to around $960–$970 per month. I’m in no rush.
