he TSX closed at 33,818.19, down 85.92 points (-0.25%), leaving me with a small loss of less than $600 across my stock portfolios. This means that my net worth will probably be within the $578,000 range, which is not disappointing at all.
I guess we were all surprised today by Carney’s new sovereign wealth fund. I don’t yet understand whether it’s a fund that all Canadians will be able to invest in, but I think it is. I didn’t have time to really get into it.
Today was quite a beautiful day in Montreal, no time to follow the news! So I quickly changed into one of my Uniqlo dresses and went straight to Mount Royal. The weather was perfect, and it was a lot of fun. To my surprise, there seems to be some construction work going on… even on Mount Royal! There is construction going on almost everywhere in Montreal, so it was quite disappointing to see some construction work happening in one of my favorite spots.
I didn’t know if the Belvedere was open or not, so I decided to go back and took an exit on Côte-des-Neiges, which I’m not used to taking. I felt a little lost, but easily found my way out thanks to Google Maps. I got lost around here.
On my way, some little flowers were waiting for me.
I continued on my way, and the surroundings were so beautiful!
Those beautiful buildings appear to be part of McGill University.
I got lost again right here, where am I? This is actually a McGill residence for students. I had never seen that place before, so I was lost at this point, but I continued following my Google Maps instructions...
I figured it out and went back home. End of story.
