Welcome in my non-registered and RRSP portfolio Savaria Corporation (SIS)!

I invested in some Savaria Corporation (SIS) stocks last week. Ever since, I made over $69 with the 2 investments (non-registered and RRSP). SIS is already showing good signs of capital gain - which I really need at this time. I am pretty sure that my net worth exceed a bit the 161k that I hit on previously in the beginning of June. Unfortunately, I have no time for update because like thousand others in Montreal, we have a special date with Jamie Cullum.

Savaria Corporation (SIS): another investment gem?

I sometimes spot very interesting things in the Globe and Mail. And I of course like to expose everything for the benefit of my readers, lucky you are! One recently was this article. If you know any French, you can click here. Its very surprising, but this company located in Quebec province seem to have everything I am looking for. Really??!!!

With my darling K-Bro Linen Inc. (KBL), the money is in the clean linen, and it seem like with Savaria Corporation (SIS), money is in even MORE boring stuff. This time, go figure, its, among other, in elevators!!! Ahah!

Savaria Corporation (SIS), for a reason or another, remind me a bit of EnerCare Inc. (ECI). And of course KBL. Boring boring business but MAX of sexy cash.

Savaria Corporation (SIS) just keep growing strong, chart is all high and dividend distribution is reasonable. I am tempt to invest in this one inside my RRSP so I will be able to pay myself for a whole expensive body lifting in my old age - AND moving and earring aids.

Saying hello and goodbye to a bunch of stocks in my portfolio lately

I have real problem to understand the UK right now, but one thing for sure, with rumors of a second referendum, the Brexit is not behind us yet. Whenever the news talk about the Euro or something bad news related, the markets go down. And I feel that the markets react too strongly to everything related to the Euro. To which extend our economy really depend directly on the Euro? Is that really that of an important matter? Humanly speaking, its of great deal of course, but when its strictly about business, in my regard, I don't think we depend that much of the Euro. I may be all wrong, but its not for me of an extreme important capitalist matter. I wish the market could be a little bit more like me, cold down and relax a bit more.

Lately, as explain in the previous post, I sold and bought a couple of stocks.

In my non-registered portfolio, I sold off:
First Majestic Silver Corp (FR)
Colabor Group Inc. (GCL)
Hanwei Energy Services (HE)
Horizons Gold Yield Fund (HGY)
Lumenpulse Inc. (LMP)
The sell of those investments in my non-registered portfolio generated a capital loss of $2 557.71 that I will be able to declare next year. I had enough of holding those stocks in my portfolio. Later on this summer, I will be turning 36 and for my birthday, I want a few things, including a real pretty shiny investment portfolio AND an annual dividend income of $7 000. I am now very close to that last goal.
In an effort to increase my dividend gain, I had bought those two inside my non-registered portfolio:
Royal Bank of Canada (RY)
Morneau Shepell Inc. (MSI)
I wasn't much excited about investing in RY, especially knowing my personal historic with Royal Bank. You can read my story right here. It is strictly a business move. Royal Bank of Canada (RY) will never be a great love of mine.

On the other hand, Morneau Shepell Inc. (MSI) is much more interesting. MSI is in the human resources sector. William Morneau, our Minister of Finance used to be an executive chair of Morneau Shepell Inc. (MSI). MSI chart is sky rocket just like I love them. At 4.588%, MSI dividend distribution is fairly interesting for any income in needs investor like myself. Morneau Shepell Inc. (MSI) can certainly add income value to any dividend oriented portfolio.

In my search, I try to invest in related company. I try to stay away from companies who are just too generous with their investors. Let me say, I learn the hard way. Today, my non-registered portfolio closed at $134 784.19. I have left $21 708.06 in unused margin money, and the portfolio is at a gain of 38.96%. Generally speaking, the numbers are not bad. My margin is secured, and I am in business.
In my TFSA portfolio, I sold off:
Precious Metals and Mining Trust (MMP.UN)
Sprott Physical Silver Trust UTS (PHS.U)
National Bank of Canada (NA)
And I bought:
Boyd Group Income Fund (BYD.UN)
Keg Royalties Income Fund (KEG.UN)

KEG.UN is an old lover of mine, in the past, I used to have Keg Royalties Income Fund in my portfolio. I learn about this stock after watching The Desperate Housewives of Vancouver. One of the cast, Christina Kiesel, had been married to David Aisenstat, spectacular seductive man even if he had lost his hair. Maybe Christina is responsible for that, who knows. Anyway David, I am yours anytime you want.

KEG.UN chart is sky rocking high baby. And its dividend distribution, at 5.97%, is generous. So way to go Keg Royalties Income Fund (KEG.UN), welcome HOME, right here were you belong. Good stocks meet great investor goddess. For real.

As for Boyd Group Income Fund (BYD.UN), I read a good article about this company in the Globe and Mail. I invest a couple of thousands in this one in the hope that this stock will help me recover from my loses. BYD.UN pay unfortunately very little in dividend. So its not the best to reach my $7k income goal, but I made this move to diversify my portfolio and I am crossing my fingers so BYD.UN will grow big again in value in the future. I am very praying for that.

We are all in to win and make money, but time happen when an individual have to press the sell button and move forward. for me, I had reached that broken point. It hurt, but I am fine anyway.

Next please.

In my RRSP portfolio, I sold off:
JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN)
Stantec Inc. (STN)
Sprott Physical Silver Trust UTS (PHS.U)

I adore Jean-François Tardif, I love him very much. Since his dismissal from Sprott, I knew he was coming back. A man that taste money and glory cannot just move on under earth like that. and I was just so right about everything. And that, he started his JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN). JFS.UN sometimes pay an annual dividend and it sometime generated capital gain. I sold once JFS.UN and generated $500. My goal was to sell from time to time and make a $500 in my pocket. However, since inspection, I was able to generated a $500 ONE single time. This is all far from what I was expecting from Jean-François Tardif. I guess I just want too much but I am in great needs. JFS.UN had a management fee link to it, it doesn't pay steady dividend. And its capital gain movement is so-so... In result, I sell of JFS.UN.

I own a great deal to Jean-François Tardif. I had invested in Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) following his recommendation. So smart bitch. Now PBH is the proud of my portfolio. Kicking some ass, seriously. I need to find a new gem like PBH. Maybe Boyd Group Income Fund (BYD.UN) will turn into something really good like that.

I bought Stantec a little while back, but it never gain in term in capital value and it upset me. So bye-bye Stantec Inc. (STN)! OUT.

The last but not the least. Sprott Physical Silver Trust UTS (PHS.U) is a bad souvenir of my silver investment. I decided to sell because I have enough of PHS.U. I decided to move on.

I now have a bit more than 5k in cash that I didn't invest yet in my RRSP.

This resume my portfolio situation.

Watch out! My investment portfolio is on the move: looking for positive changes

Of course, I was a bit concern on how the markets will react to the Brexit. Today's societies are very selfish and self-centered. Around the world, no socialist revolution can resist to that level of selfishness. The Euro zone by itself was a good idea. You could thing that countries located geographically so closed to each other would battle and build great politics for each others, but its truly not the case. I was shocked to learn that James Cameron was stepping down from his PM role. After all, the Brexit vote result was pretty much half and half, which mean that the UK is divided. There's no real one opinion in which people there believe in. A majority of 52% is not a real majority even if its being considered as is. Its a joke.

A country doesn't vote when a PM decided when they enroll or not in a war conflict. Our country sell weapons to Saudi Arabia. Justin Trudeau decided it was the right thing to do. We never vote on that matter. Fact is, citizens never actively participate on multiple decisions that really matter. But in another hand, leaving decision to citizens is not what lead to the best result in the world. Like in Canada for example, we finish with Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister. We all have our problems, but some are bigger than others. And deceptions of course can be huge.

While the world we live in is all crazy shit and upside down, its important to save money and to invest, because no one is going to do it for you. And today I must say, I have turn my portfolio all upside down in a major attempt to make things better for myself, a  real big SPLASH! Ready?

In my non-registered portfolio:
I sold off:
First Majestic Silver Corp (FR)
Colabor Group Inc. (GCL)
Hanwei Energy Services (HE)
Horizons Gold Yield Fund (HGY)
Lumenpulse Inc. (LMP)

I bought:
Royal Bank of Canada (RY)
Morneau Shepell Inc. (MSI)

In my TFSA portfolio:
I sold off:
Precious Metals and Mining Trust (MMP.UN)
Sprott Physical Silver Trust UTS (PHS.U)
National Bank of Canada (NA)

I bought:
Boyd Group Income Fund (BYD.UN)
Keg Royalties Income Fund (KEG.UN)

In my RRSP portfolio:
I sold off:
JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN)
Stantec Inc. (STN)
Sprott Physical Silver Trust UTS (PHS.U)

I didn't bought anything new yet for my RRSP.

This resume briefly my trading activities for the day. I will get back on the reasons why I made those buying and selling moves in another post.

To be continued.

Saying goodbye to Jean-François Tardif and his JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN) or kind of

I finally did it. I sell all of the units of JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN) that I was holding in my non-registered portfolio. Those units were not paying dividend and on top of it, management fees were taking a cut of my money so hey, bye-bye Jean-François Tardif.

However, I still hold to JFS.UN inside my TFSA and RRSP and I plan to keep those units in there. Its just that I have a real hunger for something else right now. I want my money to work for me. I don't know if its because Jean-François Tardif is getting lazy or is dating a new hot girl but I don't care. I want profit, money and dividend. JFS.UN is on a slow-down curve. Now, the question being: can Jean-François Tardif deliver?

When the TSX was going all the way up lately, JFS.UN gains were so-so. And I am no position to stand that (kind of shit).

I am very sorry Jean-François Tardif, you will have to work harder to please me, if not, I will sell all of my units.

So all this mean that I am soon going to place a brand new hot and sexy investment and of course, I will tell you all about it when it happen.

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD.B), Royal Bank of Canada (RY) and Thomson Reuters Corporation (TRI): welcome in my RRSP portfolio!

Last week, before happen the horrible shooting in Orlando, I decided to sell off completely something I had been holding on like it seem to me for being forever inside my RRSP portfolio: iShares Gold Bullion Fund (CGL). I made about $80 off the sale. Gold sector is very rough and I had really enough of holding on to something that result to barely nothing at all in term of capital gain, and even less in term of dividend income, because iShares Gold Bullion Fund (CGL) doesn't pay any dividend distribution.

Following the sale of my CGL units, I immediately bought some shares of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD.B), Royal Bank of Canada (RY) and Thomson Reuters Corporation (TRI). All of 3 pay some dividends and should be good investments for the long run. It cannot be worst than iShares Gold Bullion Fund (CGL), that's for sure.

At this point, my dividend income is at $6 199.61 annually (without including RRSP). And I cannot wait to earn income. In order to do so, there's no magic trick. I can invest more or rearrange whatever I can. I had been holding JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN) in every part of my portfolio, non-registered, TFSA and RRSP. Usually speaking, JFS.UN pay an annual dividend distribution, but this year, they had reinvested their dividend distribution directly into the fund, leaving nothing for me to enjoy. I took the decision a little way back to sell all of the JFS.UN units that I hold in my non-registered portfolio.

I didn't proceed to the sale yet, but it will happen soon and I will do, I will transfer the money in my TFSA and invest in something that could be a Derek Foster stock, Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (CAR.UN). That new investment should bring in about $100 in annual dividend. Another brick in the wall.

For the very first time, net worth of $160 000 is in the place!

Yesterday, I knew I had no choices, I had to post an update of my investment portfolio because I knew that my net worth had reached the 160k. And it did! Yesterday, I registered a net worth of $161 438.07. And today, I might be at 163k. That's all because the TSX is on fire. My non-registered portfolio closed yesterday session at $138 290.05... and today... $139 944.02. Its hard to believe, but my non-registered portfolio is close to the 140k! At that rhythm, I will be surfing on a $200 000 net worth in no time. I will come to satisfaction when I will have 400k. Half a million would be good too. In the mean time, getting closer to $200 000 is EXCITING. Show be what you hold, and I will you who you are. In my case, its pretty simple. I am a priceless bling-bling princess with a taste of adventure (when you hold as much stocks a I do, that only say one thing up loud). Go figure.

Its not easy to find new stuff to invest in. Not if you are desperately trying to make good choices. Reitmans (Canada) Ltd. is not a bad choice, but there's no chance that this stock is going to glow of capital gain glory in a close future. See what I mean? I am at a point where I need some truly powerful stuff to come my way. I truly know how hard it is to make good investment choices, that's a lot of the reason why I am blogging. But don't worry, you are not alone! and I am good at getting the right stuff my way because I am smart enough to read - again - Susan Brunner blog.

As you know, I am seriously thinking about selling all of the units I hold of JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN). JFS.UN doesn't pay regular dividend distribution, there's management fee hidden somewhere. And the capital gain made on the investment is ok, but not spectacular. And I need a bit more than what Jean-François Tardif can offer me at this time. I need big money big time! However, I will continue to hold to JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN) units inside my TFSA and RRSP.

In that deeply desperate search of mine, something catch my attention: Thomson Reuters Corporation (TRI). YES, FINALLY. That's the one! This is what I am going to do: sell my JFS.UN investment off my non-registered, transfer the money in my TFSA and invest in TRI. I also find Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (CAR.UN) quite interesting. That one is coming from Derek Foster.

I almost have $500 in cash in my RRSP. I was thinking about Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD.B) - another Derek Foster pick.

Those are the plans for now.

May 2016: a month to remember for investors

The month of May is best known for being a terrible month for investors, but May had been a very great month for my investment portfolio. Back on May 23, my net worth was of $156 327.28. I suspect my net worth to be something of the very close of $160k at this time and this being without new investments. I may post an update of my investment portfolio this weekend just to find out if I am sitting on a $160 000 fortune or not.

I have some money leftover, but it seem to me like when I have no investment plan, there's no pleasure to hold money in the bank. It seem impossible for me to just keep money in there: I spent or invest it, one way or the other. Its like a human being without soul, you turn out into a zombie, go to work from Monday to Friday and run to the gym without any other goal, without any purposes in life.

My life could get very boring without investing and without blogging.

But here I come, with all those new projects for my stock portfolio! Yeah!

First of all, my annual dividend income - without counting the dividend raise of National and Laurentian Bank - is of $6 196.29 (this exclude dividend I earn inside my RRSP). I am looking for ways to increase that amount. So I was checking on my very long list of holdings, when I stare at JFT Strategies Fund (JFS.UN). I hold JFS.UN units in my non-registered, TFSA and RRSP account. I was expecting stronger result from JFS.UN. I will continue to hold JFS.UN inside my TFSA and RRSP portfolio, but I may sell the units I hold inside my non-registered portfolio, and transferred the money inside my TFSA to invest in something new. However, I don't know what I will be investing in using that money.

I own a chuck of that 160k investment that I own to Susan Brunner. I invested in K-Bro Linen Inc. (KBL) following her - among other. To Jean-François Tardif, I own Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH), on which I made several thousand of dollars. Its cool to read on other people stuff, but you need to quite sexy smart to make the right decisions. If not, you could lose everything. When you are 100% invested, you need to be sexy smart - your choices will make your glory or destroyed your financial situation. Its not that hard to invest smartly and kick up some ass.

Susan Brunner always start her reviews by saying something like I do don't own this stock... or I own this stock... Personally, I usually skip the posts where she said I do not hold this stock... Because time is money, and I only want to learn about the stocks that Susan Brunner hold. I recently came over her post about Reitmans (Canada) Ltd. and I thinking about investing probably on Monday a little amount in Reitmans (Canada) Ltd.

Other than that, I don't have my eyes on any other stocks at the current time.

Hello, super sexy hot cool net worth of $156 327.28. That money is all MINE. YES SIR

On August 27, I will be TURNING 36, and things are looking good for the Dividend Girl to be sitting on a $160 000 net worth right in time for my 36 birthday. Do you understand the relationship between those 2 numbers?

I spent my Saturday in Ottawa, where I enjoy the Rideau Canal and the fabulous tulips.

It cost me $83 for the bus tickets.

It was my first visit to Ottawa in a couple years and I found that the city had changed a bit. There's construction a bit everywhere. The Shaw Centre is very impressive. Despite its beauty, its nothing much than a conference center. I saw a couple of new condominiums downtown. The Rideau Centre is no longer the same. Sears is no longer there, they had a brand new store to replace it: Nordstrom.

No store is very pretty and appealing, but everything in there is VERY very expensive. I found that generally speaking, there's a lot of expensive stores now at the Rideau Centre. Like Tiffany, Michael Kors, Zara, Tommy Hilfiger. I personally never buy anything at those stores. Rideau Centre is now targeting a high class clientele.

While being at the Rideau Centre, I stop at LCBO liquor store and I bought two bottles: Peller Estates 2014 Vintage Chardonnay and Peller Estates French Cross Rosé, on which I got drunk on last night. I am now a shareholder of Andrew Peller Limited, so this was the occasion to get a taste of what Peller Estates offer. I don't drink that much, but when I began a bottle, I usually finish it on the same day - especially when its rosé. Fortunately, I didn't drink all of that Peller Estates French Cross Rosé I bought, I have some left for another happy time. Peller Rosé is very good. And best thing of all, its a Canadian Rosé! Make me proud Ontario readers and go boost Peller Estates sale at your local LCBO. Let's go baby and make me rich Andrew Peller!

$$$ ;-)

I didn't make extensive search, but I don't think that Peller Estates are available in Quebec province, unfortunately.

I had registered great grow in my portfolio. I am now at $221 514.63. I am getting closer to the $300 000. And when it will happen, sexy net worth will be at $234 812.37. I can only dream, but it wasn't that long ago that I was dreaming of my first $50 000 net worth... May the TSX be on my side and God with me so I can continue to make elegant investment moves and make money like water.

Something new for my RRSP portfolio: Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc. (WB)

I still didn't take time to update my investment portfolio and dividend income, but I estimate my net worth to be at least at $157 000. Its still going all that way up.

I was quite shock to learn that Russia had approached Justin Trudeau office to help stop the wildfire in Alberta... Can't the US provide their help instead? It would be a real shame to have Russian people help us. Vladimir Poutine is only doing this to give himself some kind of a capital leadership kingdom, but shame of him. Poutine needs to stay away from Canada or our country will become as shitty as his. Will Trudeau make the right decision for once?

Its quite strange knowing all the trouble going on in one of the richest places of Canada. It have absolutely no impact what so ever on myself, and not even on the value of my investment portfolio. As the summer shyly arrived, I am working hard at the gym to get the hot body of a little mermaid. However, today was quite cold in Montreal and in some places, they are expecting snow... So its not anytime soon that I will be able to show it all outside.

My very last investment was made in Andrew Peller Ltd (ADW.B). I used to have my eyes on Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc. (WB) and a Globe and Mail article just made me rethink about that stock now. I have close to $500 in RRSP cash inside my broker account. That money came from dividend distribution that didn't roll over to generate new stocks. I am tempted to invest in WB.

I am very glad that my portfolio is doing well because if not, I will be crying right now. And I have no time for desperation. I am currently working more than full-time, and on top of that I worked out 8 to 10 hours at the gym and I try to go to bed early not to brake down. Life is good and easy when my portfolio is on the high.

Fort McMurray devastation had no hard effect on the TSX, at least for now

What's going on in Fort McMurray right now seem to be so unreal. Its really sad that a place that been know for being a rich paradise for workers had turn into a fucking living hell. I am from New Brunswick and when you are from New Brunswick, you know for sure people how had been in Fort McMurray, made money and went back, or are currently living there. A lot of New Brunswickers went down West for jobs. And it was almost my case. While job searching many years ago, I was offered a secretary job in Alberta, in a real estate agency. I don't remember in which city it was. Anyway, I didn't go, and I don't have any regrets, especially now.

It seem like Fort McMurray sad events don't have any current effects over the TSX. I estimate my net worth to be of at least $156 000, which is strange, in many ways, because I am at my highest ever. Its not slowing down at work, I even have to do plenty of extra hours just to be able to make it. Seem to me like I will still be working full-time for at least the next 2 to 3 years ahead. I really need to be working full-time until I hit 40.

Its unfortunately in time like these that I congrad myself for not being a homeowner. When you get out of work and that your home is being destroyed, you can only rely on the money that you had put aside. Those who didn't made any savings are getting hurt very badly. They cannot fly away whenever its possible and relocated very easily. It doesn't worth it to have expensive furniture and have so many clothes that you don't have enough of a wardrobe to put all your stuff in. In modern days, less is more. Home and material things can be destroyed, but money and stocks remain yours, no matter what.

Welcome in my TFSA portfolio Andrew Peller Ltd (ADW.B)!

I didn't get the chance to blog about it, but I got my tax income done and completed about 2-3 weeks ago. For 2015, I made more than $65 000. I did a lot of overtime at work and I declare all of those extra working hours. I just had an extra $28 to pay back to Quebec province. And I am waiting a return of about $80 from the federal. I had a better life when I was earning half of that amount. I can get really frustrated over work and all of that overtime may be good for my pay, but its just not good for me. With all that money earn in 2015, I am finally about to welcome a new investment in my portfolio. I just place an order to buy some stocks of Andrew Peller Ltd (ADW.B) for my TFSA.

The weather had been super nice this weekend, making it even more difficult to blog or do anything that request to be in front of a computer for a few hours. With the TSX hitting to a close 14 000 points, things are doing great for my portfolio! I think my net worth could currently be of something like $155 000 right now. Too bad, but I didn't have time to post any portfolio update this weekend.

Check out this adorable YouTube video where you can see Joseph A. Peller himself receiving a kiss on the check from his son at the occasion of the opening of the TSX:

Joseph A. Peller passed away this year. Its his father, Andrew Peller, that started the company.

It seem like Peller wines are not available in Quebec province. Did you know that Wayne Gretzky has his own winery estate? Its actually a brand of Andrew Peller Ltd. You may like to learn more about Andrew PEller by clicking here and also here.

Good results on the TSX

I was quite happy yesterday when I saw that the TSX was closing at almost 14 000 points. The effect on my investment portfolio is showing. I estimated that I currently must be around a $157 000 net worth.

I just got transferred Hydro One Limited (H) and Barrick Gold Corp (ABX) over my TFSA. I also got transferred $1 500 in cash so I can place my investment in Andrew Peller Limited/Andrew Peller Limitee (ADW.A). I like the name "Andrew Peller". The company is now at its third generation.

Its just too bad that Prince had to die when all those good things are happening.

Contribution in kind for my TFSA

If you taught that holding on to a $137 000 and something as non-registered portfolio was amazing, well you haven't seen nothing yet! My non-registered closed today session at $138 598.27. Highest ever! Hot hot hot! Sooo very close to 140k.

These days, the market is on my side and everything is simply amazing. I just keep beating over and over again my highest value... These times are great. I decided it was time to do something for my TFSA. I just transferred both Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) and Canadian Imperial Bank Of Commerce (CM) investments that I hold inside my non-registered into my TFSA. It make a contribution of about 2k. And I have left more than 20k in TFSA contribution room.

Another investment that I have in mind for another TFSA contribution in kind is Hydro One Limited (H) and Barrick Gold Corp (ABX). Following what, I hope to place a brand new investment in Andrew Peller Limited/Andrew Peller Limitee (ADW.A).

I don't know if the markets will keep on that heaven road, but it feel good to be again on top of the game. The 200k net worth is not too far away. And during those wonderful times, Justin Trudeau is selling arms to Saudi Arabia. What is doing the NPD to stop that? We keep rolling and go to work, enjoy the markets like if nothing was wrong.

A new comer for my investment portfolio: Andrew Peller Limited/Andrew Peller Limitee (ADW.A)

Money is in the booze baby!

:-)

It seem like my $150 000 net worth is here to stay. My non-registered portfolio closed Friday session at $137 569.81. I now hold to $416.08 in cash inside my TFSA. I am in no hurry to place my next investment even if I should. I didn't invest in something new in a very long time. But no matter what, my portfolio value just keep going strong.

I guess you may had heard, Eric Sprott is back on the spotlight for investing in silver mine. But fact is, you know when Eric Sprott invest in something, but as soon he wil be selling, the stock price will drop and voilà. Its too risky. He may still be investing and playing with millions, but Eric Sprott is not the kind of investor you want to follow if you want to make money out of the stock market. Sprott make money by being a gambler, not an investor. I had a quick look at the mining company he's promoting, but no thank you. I already burn myself by investing in some Eric Sprott shit so I will pass on this one.

I prefer to invest in some stuff that I can trust and that I won't be scare losing my money in. My portfolio is large and invested in all kind of stuff that catch my interest over the years. Its getting harder to get something new in my portfolio because it appear to me that everything interesting is already in there. But nope, its not the case! There's always something interesting hiding somewhere on the stock market!

One my favorite alcoholic juice is Andres Fine Old Apera - it drink itself like juice with good booze,  its tasty and good. This Canadian Sherry is so very good. Its so good that I once check on the company that own it: Andrew Peller Limited/Andrew Peller Limitee (ADW.A). ADW.A is a family owned company with an interesting history.

Andrew Peller Limited chart is sky rocking - exactly what I need for my portfolio. At not even 1.6%, the dividend yield is tiny little, however, because of the value it could bring in to my already good looking portfolio, I may finally move forward.

Welcoming a brand new $150 000 net worth

I hope you all had an Happy Easter. Mine was spent in New Brunswick. The weather was terrible on Friday Easter. While being stuck inside with nothing much to do, I did some cleaning in my old student stuff, like student loan papers that I no longer have to keep because the loans are now paid, etc. So many useless papers! I kept a few books and most of my courses paper because I didn't want to throw away that stuff. Overall, it has been a massive cleaning exercise that kept me busy for most part of the weekend and I am not even done with it. I still have a few boxes that I didn't look at and I have no ideas what can be in them... It will be a surprise for my next vacation in New Brunswick. Here in Montreal, I am pretty good at keeping just what I need partly because my apartment is small. Its crazy the number of papers we can accumulate on the long run.

At $137 020, my non-registered portfolio is still going strong. I am actually at one of my highest in a very long time! And its quite exciting because I found out today that my net worth is now of a great $150 760.97! It could even a bit more, but I didn't add the $1 600 of my banking account because it soon be gone on rent and credit card payment. No matter what, I am currently sitting on a $150 000 net worth! I wasn't expecting it to be so soon. Now, I can think of my first $200 000! Those are all very exciting and wonderful things. Its kind of funny that I reached $150 000 in net worth on April 1, but this is not an April fool, I promise!

In result, and to begin a new month the right way, I decided to pay a closer look at my expenses so I may place my next investment. I didn't invest in nothing new in quite sometimes. I still have thousands available in contribution room for my TFSA, which is a shame. I have left more than $24 000 left on my margin, transferring non-registered investment over to my TFSA is just the perfect time. I am looking for stocks with a low value increased so I won't have too much to pay in capital gains. Currently, my investments in Canadian Imperial Bank Of Commerce (CM), Hydro One Limited (H) and Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) are good candidates for TFSA contribution in kinds.

Thank you

Thank you for visiting!
